Synergy Solutions was formed as the result of the close working relationships of the partners in providing successful land acquisition and management assistance to public agencies through maximizing programs, partnerships and financial leveraging.
Richard S. Rubin, AIA, Chief Executive Officer, has more than 30 years of experience in Florida, which includes service to local government and private developers with significant accomplishments in architecture, land development, consulting, urban design, municipal planning, land acquisition and grant writing. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, a Master’s Degree in Urban Design, is a Licensed Architect (Florida), and a Licensed Real Estate Broker (Florida).

John Canada, Chief Financial Officer, has 35 years of executive management and budget expertise in local government. Formerly, he was the Budget and Management Director for Broward County, where he developed and coordinated the County’s $3.1 billion annual budget. In addition, he was the Town Administrator of Southwest Ranches, where the Town acquired 152 acres of land which is primarily environmentally sensitive. His experience includes public administration, grant facilitation, public relations, federal, state, local partnering, contracts and land negotiations, tax assessment programs and acquisition strategies.
